Here are the basic list rules:
This list now operates under the authority of UNEDA and only UNEDA members have access.
List subscriber must be an existing dealer or an employee of a dealer.
All posts should be in the following format:

WTB: Want-To-Buy posting used only if you are absolutely ready to place an order
RFQ: Request-For-Quote posting is merely requesting for pricing information. Not ready to place an order yet.
WTS: Want-To-Sell posting. All Cisco, HP and Juniper items must have pricing information
WTSE: Want To Sell posting for EU members
WTBE: Want to Buy posting for EU members
OT: Off-Topic postings are allowed as long as they are not offensive and exhaustive
All posts must contain your name, company name and phone number.
All posts must be 8K bytes or smaller. If they are larger, it will be automatically rejected by the list software.
Only genuine Cisco pieces are permitted. Absolutely NO counterfeits are allowed.
No cross posting on the network-equipment list for Cisco equipment, that is, you may not send your WTB/WTS post to any other list in the same email that you post to our list or in multiple identical (or nearly identical) emails.
Buyers on this list expect a minimum of 30 days for warranty. All items offered for sale (WTS), or requests that are responded to (WTB), must carry a 30 day warranty unless explicitly stated otherwise in the WTS post or in the WTB response.
Only 15 WTS posts are allowed per month, but they can have many items.
All Cisco, HP and Juniper networking hardware WTS posts must have prices
WTS posts with "obviously counterfeit" items are forbidden
Posting of full inventory list permitted once a month.
Everyone shall expect that all equipment offered has a serial number, so if you are selling equipment with no serial number sticker affixed, you MUST explicitly state "no serial number sticker" in the WTS post.
You may have unlimited WTB posts.
No large NOB/NIB WTB Posts permitted unless "Genuine Cisco" is expressly requested.
The solicitation of stand-alone individual licenses, firmware/software (IOS) on the list, with the exception of equipment that has specific requirements already loaded on the hardware, are prohibited.
No negative comments pertaining to a fellow list subscriber is allowed. The maximum statement that any subscriber may make of another is "Before doing business with . . . ."
As listed in the Code of Ethics Article 1C, "All postings to the lists are confidential among UNEDA Members. Under no circumstances may a posting from these lists, in whole or in part, be transmitted to any person or entity that is not a Member of UNEDA." This includes forwarding, copying or BCC of any list email. Any individual found in violation is at risk of the entire Member company being suspended and/or removed with review by the Board of Directors
UNEDA prohibits the overt solicitation of sales reps on the Network-Equipment List.
To post a message to all the list members, send email to network-equipment@lists.uneda.com. Only Uneda companies and their designated sales representatives may post to the list.
